A Home Condition Survey is designed for the property purchaser – particularly one who is not having a survey as no mortgage is involved. This survey inspects the condition of the property, taking into consideration all aspects of the building’s construction. It informs where repairs are urgent, where repairs are less pressing and also highlights valuable information to the purchaser with regards to enquiries to be made in respect of work requiring building regulation approvals or planning permissions, drainage, electrical installations, gas installations etc.
The survey also calculates the insurance re-instatement cost to ensure the property is adequately insured in respect of building insurance.
